"Matsyodari Shikshan Sanstha is one of the reputed educational institute in Jalna district in Marathwada region The institute is purposefully established by Founder President Late Adv. Ankushrao Tope to spread education in rural and remote area of Jalna District. The popularity of the institution is continuously coming into notice due to its transparency and quality education to the needy one. Hon'ble Rajesh Tope, President of the institute and Ex Minister of Health & Welfare Minister of Maharashtra has been accelerating administration and quality education of the institute through his broad vision and positive attitude. Arts College Tirthpuri, Tal. Ghansawangi Dist. Jalna is established in 2000 to provide higher education in rural and remote area. Now , the college has its own huge building surrounded with number of trees and plants. Initially, It was challenge before the college to run art faculty in the world of science and technology. The faculty of the college is fully qualified bearing highest qualification in their subject gets benefit to all the students of this rural area. Apart from teaching and learning, we involve our students in various extension activities such as blood donation camp, health check up camp, tree plantation camp, cleanliness camp and social awareness camp. The college understood the need of local community and started Diploma course in Dairy Products and Drip Technology under the scheme of Community College of UGC in the academic year 2014-15. As a need and demand of the students college extended same diploma course into graduation entitled B. Voc in Dairy Products and B. Voc. in Drip Technology in 2018-19. The college also started subject related certificate courses in each subject to enhance knowledge of their particular subject. The number of female students is larger than the male students in the college. So we started different vocational certificate courses such as Computer Application, Beautician and Tailoring in collaboration of Vedant Foundation, Mumbai. To prove our academic progress, our college has been accredited by NAAC with B grade in first cycle. We have also taken an initiative to cultivate 5000 Dragon Fruit plant in barren land of one hector of the institute. The purpose of the project is to inspire and motivate farmer of the local community to cultivate dragon fruit plant in minimum water in draught area with good income. The voice chancellor of Dr. B. A. M. University, Aurangabad visited the project and appreciated. He has also suggested other institute to imitate the project in their own campus so as to raise funds from this project for college development .We have also gone through University Academic Audit twice and got A grade."
